Left back pain often is a constant aching, gnawing feeling in your side that something is wrong, it feels like you’re being ‘attacked’ at every moment by your back (and if you have TMS, in a way, you are).

Left back pain is of such a nature that you simply can’t ignore it, it pounds away at your side day and night.

You’re sleeping at night, you turn over and you’re inwardly screaming in pain lying awake. It’s like having a constant stitch in your back muscles, stabbing and sore.

But stitches pass away quickly why doesn’t this you think to yourself?

So what can be done to treat such stabbing and severe left back pain?

The best thing to do is investigate the causes, try to leave no stone unturned.

If you don’t deal with the true root cause of your pain all your efforts to cure it will be wasted.

Left Back Pain Treatments-The Traditional Methods

Traditional back pain treatments include:

  • ice packs to bring swelling in the muscles or tendons down
  • heat packs on the sore back including
  • hot water bottles to soothe aching or cramped muscles/tendons or nerves
  • hot baths with Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate)to soothe aching muscles and nerves.
  • BTW-Magnesium is essential for the nervous system to work efficiently and many of us in the Western world are deficient in magnesium we excrete it when we’re stressed you see. Magnesium citrate is the best for internal supplements by the way.

But what if there was another way to ease the pain? You see, IF YOU’RE THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO GETS STRESSED AND WORRIED A LOT AND YOU’RE A PERFECTIONIST THE CHANCES ARE YOU MAY HAVE TENSION MYOSITIS SYNDROME…

This Site is devoted to helping those who are suffering with chronic pain through tension myositis syndrome.

For more information on this common though unknown condition here is part one of my own story-

Back Pain Spasms

If you do have tension myositis syndrome then there is little to worry about it as it can be quite straightforward to ‘fix’, once you know how.

Just knowing about TMS is a huge step in the right direction.

As for back pain treatments the simple and often free cure program for tension myositis syndrome definitely isn’t traditional but thousands of chronic back pain sufferers have broken free through it, including me!
